FASHION PIECES THAT WILL NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE

Fashion pieces come and go. Some grace the spotlights today like a Marvel superhero movie and go stale tomorrow like a dry joke. That is the norm, even away from the fashion industry. However, some fashion pieces defy the norm. These pieces are what some would call evergreen, everlasting, timeless, etc.

Timeless fashion pieces are an amazing addition to your wardrobe. If you don’t have any yet, or you aren’t even sure of what these pieces are, I’ve got you covered. Below I have highlighted some of the common fashion pieces that have stood the test of time.

Let’s begin with the very first.

Black heels

Some might tell you that Mary Magdalene wore black heels to emphasize the timelessness of this fashion element. At the same time, others may tell you that the ancient man invented black heels to ensure that you understand how ageless this piece is.

Feminine, hot, saucy, and black: I bet you saw this coming. Black heels—as many nonagenarian, septuagenarian, and octogenarians would agree—have been around for quite some time. And, of course, they are a must for every woman. In fact, if you are a lady and you don't have this shoe somewhere in your wardrobe or shoe rack, you might have to rush to the store to get one, so you don't seem odd and outdated.

Jeans

This is certainly a no-brainer. Jean existed ever since man began covering his nakedness with quality clothing material. Of course, they have been around for quite a while and one will agree that this fashion piece—which is common among both genders—is the hardest worker in their wardrobe.

Regardless of the year, the trend that hits the spotlights on the runway, or competitors that emerge, jeans will never become outdated. They are a staple in the fashion world whose extinction isn’t farfetched.

Blazers

Remember Roundhay Garden Scene, the oldest surviving movie in the world that was created in 1888? The man in the scene donned black blazers, indicating--to a little extent—how old this fashion piece is.

Blazers, like jeans, is another wardrobe staple that has been around for quite some time, refusing to go extinct and surviving all efforts to be swept aside by similar pieces.

The outfit possibilities of a blazer are as endless as the far-stretched sky. You can don this piece for several occasions, be it formal or informal. Perhaps, the fact that it is a staple of workplace fashion is a huge reason why it has refused to go out of style. Or maybe it's because it is irreplaceable and pairable with a variety of clothes.

Button-ups

If you are the type who prefers to stick with fashion pieces for a long time—rather than update them as they lose the spotlights—a button-up shirt may be what you need. These shirts, which I consider a worthy investment that will serve you for a long time, can be paired with various pants and worn on several occasions, be it formal or informal.

Tees

Now, tees are a staple fashion piece that just won't go out of vogue, come what may. For starters, they're simple, yet so sleek. Whether you're a guy or lady, you can don any fitted or baggy T-shirt on a pair of jeans at home or to any outdoor casual event, or add a jacket in winter. The look is classic. It could be a polo with patterns, image, or words printed, and you'd look super comfy.

Indeed, T-shirts are a must-have in every wardrobe.
